| ooooI just wanted to write a little bit about the following poetry so people don't misunderstand me,.......any more than they do now anyway.....heh heh. This poetry was written when I was much younger and very different in my beliefs. Just like my artwork archive, the poetry archive contains poetry and songs that I would never present to anyone as my professional work. This is the writing I did while I was learning about poetry, and myself. The meter is frequently terrible, and I make many selfish, egotistical, hypocritical remarks. Also, Marx would be proud because I obviously can't escape the diametric reasoning. I would like to take this time to apologize to the general public and my friends for my supercillious attitude. I have changed immensely from this time. I used to be a Christian, and I used to have a lot more faith in God at that time. The poetry reflects my questions of faith, though they are not all based on those ideas. I'm very solid in what I believe now, but these poems reflect the inquisitive nature I came from. I may change a couple lines here or there when I feel they are extremely repugnant and displeasing. Why would I want to put this up if it's not putting my best foot forward? I would like to start a new view of art on the web. Let's not only put our good artwork out for show, but let's show our learning progression so younger and upcoming artists can identify with their mentors better. If they can see where you came from, and that you weren't always immaculately perfect, they can feel better about the long road ahead of them, and they'll feel less despair about where they need to be.
